Uploading documents to Docuter

Uploading documents to Docuter is simple and quick. Here are the steps:

1) Login into your Docuter account. If you don't have one, click here to get on.

2) Click on Upload Tab to reach the upload page

3) Click on button "Click to Select Files" and select the file you want to upload.If you want to change the file you selected, simply click on button "Click to Select Files" and reselect the file to upload

4) Click on "Upload Files" to start the upload process.

5) A popup window will appear where you can fill in the details regarding your document.  These are optional, but highly recommended. Thorough descriptions dramatically improve others' ability to find your documents via search engines

 6) Your document should be already published by now and available in your My Documents. You can share the document with any one you want.

 

Signing up and logging in

Signing Up

To access Docuter and to upload and publish documents using Docuter, you will need to sign up. The sign up process is simple and fast and you just need an email address.

Here's how to sign up:

1) From Docuter's home page, click on Sign-Up on top right..

2) A popup comes up where you enter your name, email and password

3) Click Sign Up.

If you don't see the sign-up link on Docuter's home page, then click here to sign up.
You will receive a verification email at the address you provided. Click the link in the email to verify your email address. 
 
 
Logining In
Once you have signed up at Docuter, you can come back and log in into your account anytime. For quick login simple click on the Login link on the top right corner of home page of Docuter.

Clicking on Login will open a window where you enter your email and password that you used when signing up at Docuter. Enter these details and click on Login button.

Click here if you've forgotten your password. Once you're logged in, go to My Documents to see your documents!

Things You'll Need:

  1. Sign up for an account at the Docuter Home page (www.docuter.com). If you already have an account, simply log into your account. Click on the "Upload" button at the top of the page.
  2. Next, click on the button labeled "Click to Select Files" and browse your file which you want to upload
  3. Click on "Upload Files" button to upload the file. You will see the upload progress and then conversion status.
  4. You will then see a Describe Document window, where fill in the document details and enter the folder if any where you might want to save the document. Click on "Save" button. You can also skip this step by clicking on "Skip" button. You will now see your document under "All Documents". The document is already published now.
  5. Click on Document to go to the document page. Click on the Embed button to get the "Embed Codes."
    Here you will see an Embed Code, which you can use to put document on yoru blog or website and a link code which you can use to link to the document from anywhere. Copy the Embed code.
  6. Log into your blog site, and Open the post you want to embed the Docuter Document into, or create a new post. Click the tab to switch to HTML mode. Press "Control + V," which will paste the code into your blog. (for Macs, press Command + V). Click on Save or Publish and your document is embeded into your blog.
